Long Beach

Granma came to visit us again so we decided because mommy
was way more mobile than she was the last time Ganma came we would
take a trip to show her the beautiful Pac NW Coast!
We went to Long Beach, WA
(Not Long Beach, CA that would have been a much longer drive
..... warmer! But a much much longer drive!)

One of the things on Wifey's life list was to ride horses on the beach!
So we check out this place and realized it wouldn't be that
much for us all to go so we signed ourselves up!

Waiting for our departure time.

Yup this cute little guy went too at only 6 months old!

There he is on his first horsie ride!!

Off they go

Cheesing for the camera!
(We'd like to note that this horse was SO mild and gentle and slow
that Little baby R was never ever in danger.)

Ganma even got on!
She doesn't like heights or not being on stable ground
but she was a trooper and tried to be okay with going with us.
We didn't want to leave her behind but she ended up getting off
and hanging out with the dogs!
(Yes our dogs came too!  They truly are huge travelers!)
Thanks Ganma for trying to overcome your fears and
getting on the horse to begin with!  We are happy you
had a nice time walking around with the puppies!

G was next to get on and he was old enough to ride all by himself!

This made mommy a little nervous but he wasn't phased by it at all!

Next was C and Mommy's turn!
This is C with our horsie.
(This is where more pictures of C should be but our computer
has eaten the pictures we uploaded from Mommy's phone! We also
realized that we might have uploaded the pictures to daddy's work computer that
later completely died so they scrubbed the hard-drive and quite possibly taking
our pictures with it! It's so sad but we are still trying to hold out hope they are hidden in
some secret place on Mommy's laptop!)

Off we go!

Onto the beautiful beach!

There is G!
(These horses were SO well trained that G's horse just stayed with the
Wrangler the entire time!)

The front of C's horse.

Just a couple scenic pictures.

It was truly a beautiful experience on so many levels!

We trotted down the beach to a certain point then all the horses
turned around to head back!

There is daddy and baby R!
Their horse was always in the back of the pack because it
was just so gentle or maybe it's because she's
so smart! She didn't have to walk as far as everyone else did
because she'd get to her own point and turn around!

At one point all of our horses were together!
(This company needs to invest in a photographer! We would have bought our pictures!)

Daddy, Baby R and G!

G was SO proud of himself!

There he is hanging out with the wrangler!

We will definitely do it again if we have the opportunity!
This is about the time when the camera that mommy was
taking pictures with died!
(That's why the rest of the pictures of C and mommy were on her phone!)

Mommy and C riding off back to the ranch!
Later we found out that Daddy's horse always hangs out in the back
and that Mommy and C's horse always wants to be in the front!
Which explains why when we turned around she didn't just hang
out in the back she picked up her pace to be back in the front of the pack!
It was so much fun!

Then it was off to find something good to eat!

Hanging out waiting for our food to arrive!

We drove through the night after Hubby got off of work so our
first "day/night" we got to the hotel and crashed then woke up
the next day and started our adventure!
