Things they say IV

Mommy does "pre-school" at home with C
and they have a calendar up to do "circle time" everyday.
One day after picking G up from school:
C: Mommy what day is it?
M: It's Wednesday.
C: No what Number day is it?
M: Oh I don't know
C: Is it the 5th?
M: Yeah I think it is! Do we need to do our calendar still?
C: Um No it already has the number 5
M: (going to look) Oh it does! did you put that up there?
You're so Smart!
G: NOOO he didn't I did!
M: Oh okay thank you bubby!
G: Mom you know when I come home from school
and I don't see the right number up there I get "such frustrated!"
M: Oh REALLY!?! Such frustrated?
G: Yeah because I go to school C should do his school too!
And it's Such frustrated!
M: Well sorry bud but some days are harder to get school
done with the baby around but I will try harder to get it done.
G: Okay thanks Mom!

You're welcome buddy!
Sheesh!
Little schooling Commander!
AAAAaaaaand apparently
Mommy has been saying that
she's "such frustrated" too many times!
We really have to start watching what we say
even if we don't swear in our house!

We looked into buying a house out here to
help save some money.  We know that
might not make sense to some people
but if you can buy a house a mortgage
payment is often times cheaper than a rental payment.
But after looking into because of the economy
tanking a couple years back they required a
larger down payment than we expected so
we decided to renew our lease in our Rental Abode.
We were tidying all weekend because
we have never had an inspection before.
The morning of the inspection mommy was rushing
around trying to get the pets and the little boys into
the car so they would be out of the way of the inspector.

M: Come on C can you get your Crocs on
and pick out a snack so we can go?
C: Where are we going Mommy?
M: We are just going to go drive around
for a little while so they can come and inspect our house.
C: Our NEW house!?!
Mommy are they coming to Inspect our New house in Ohio?
M: Our new house in Ohio!?
No this house.
C: Oh when we buy a new house is it going to be in Ohio?
M: Do you want our new house to be in Ohio?
C: Um yeah
(After mommy told daddy)
D: So you want to buy a house and move back to Ohio?
C: Um yeah after we have LOTS and lots of Um Money!
D: Okay bud we can do that.

You don't think that big moves or major
changes affect little ones but they do!
We'll try buddy... Someday!

One night G had not been feeling so well.
He had some tummy issues and was up a couple of times
in the middle of the night disoriented.
In the morning Daddy was up when G woke up:

Daddy: How are you feeling bud?
G: Okay
Daddy: So your tummy feels better and you feel okay to go to school?
G: Oh No my tummy still hurts. I feel good enough to stay home
but not good enough to go to school.
Daddy informed mommy of G staying home from school.
We thought it would be best to keep him home because of
his tummy issues he had the night before.
Later that same day:
Mommy:  How is your tummy feeling bud?
(After seeing him acting very healthy!)
G: Umm my tummy is still a little hurty.
Mommy:  Really are you sure?
G: Umm my tummy will be a little hurty until school is over.
Mommy: WHAT!?!
G: What?
(with the cutest little side grin)
Mommy: I want to know how you're really feeling!?
G: Well my tummy does feel a little better but not all the way
enough to go to school.

They are learning the art of deception EARLIER and earlier these days!!
If it wasn't for him ACTUALLY being sick enough to
have a little accident the evening before we would have just
shipped him off to school and we're pretty sure he would have been fine!
We just didn't want him to get worse or to get others sick!
You'd better believe he went to school the next day!
