We finally got invited to hang out with
some friends here in Seattle!
They invited us to go to the zoo!!
First up were the Elephants!
And he came right up to the fence!
C was amazed!
Then C and his friends were off
to see the porcupine!
Then it was the TIGERS!
They were just relaxing right there next to the window!

It was AMAZING!
It was like they were fake but they indeed were VERY real!
Monkeys!
All of the animals were very photogenic the day we went.
Everyone was checking out
(cough feeding)
the peacock!

Then we went to aquarium.
This is what LIVE sand dollars look like!
(Far from the white things we associate sand dollars with!)

These guys wanted to be fed
And we wanted to go down and see
them in
the tank of
Walruses!
they were huge!
and C LOVED them!
Watching the zoo keeper feed the Puffins!
The Polar Bears were out
but they weren't swimming in the water.
They were just lazily relaxing in the sun.

They both loved
sitting there watching the fish and sharks just swim by!
Then we couldn't pass up
"petting" the stingrays!
After the stingrays we had to decide
between the bird show or playing on the playground.
C chose the playground but then changed his mind.
So we went to see a few more animals for the "animal show"
and he was happy about that and then it was off to playing!

We LOVED getting to go to the zoo with all of our friends!
We hope we get to do more fun activities with them in the future!
