Dragons!

G earned free tickets 

to go bowling from school 

because he "stayed active" during 

winter break! The tickets 

were going to expire so we naively thought 

we would try and go on a Saturday night! 

(The night they expired) 

But we were surprised to 

see how nice the bowling alley was 

and because it was SO nice it was going to take 

us 45 min to wait for a lane to open! 

It was already late and it would be even 

later to wait to even START bowling! 

We headed off to the "arcade" to 

discuss what we were going to do and they had 

this HUGE claw machine! 

We didn't play it but played 

a few other small arcade games then 

headed off to try and find somewhere to wait.

Well if you've ever gone to a popular bowling alley 

you already know that the "crowd" of people 

changes after a certain time of night and Mommy 

was feeling very out of place and that the best thing 

to do for our little family is to leave and to go back 

another time. 

This did not sit well with G. 

So we compromised that 

we would go get some cash and go 

and play that HUGE claw machine! 

Mommy has never considered herself a

"lucky" person because she never wins anything!

But with the help of G pushing the drop button and 

daddy looking from the side Mommy WON!!

We told the boys right away 

that there was a big chance we might not 

win anything and that was okay and they 

shouldn't throw a big fit! 

Daddy thought it would be best to 

try and get a little blue lizard thing.

Mommy's first try she picked up 

not one

not two

but THREE!! 

Huge stuffed animals!! 

But the claw machine like most claw machines

 are made to try and wiggle the stuffed animals out 

so you don't actually win! 

So the first time every stuffed animal got 

knocked out of the claw! 

The second time she actually WON the green one 

that was C's! 

So we decided to abandon the blue lizard 

and go for the blue dragon. 

(The 3 picked up originally was the lizard and the 2 dragons)

Daddy had put a limit on how many tries

we could have! 

Everyone else who was hanging out in the arcade 

was cheering Mommy and G on! 

(G was pushing the button every time!)

Daddy said no more after a few times of not winning 

but mommy said just ONE more time! 

Because we were SO close!

(After all you can't win 1 when you have 2 boys!

Well we actually have 3 but only 2 that cared at the time!)

Right before the last time Mommy told G to 

say a quick prayer and he did. 

And we WON!! 

The Blue one for G! 

The boys were SOOO excited and happy! 

We can't believe mommy actually won them for our boys! 

Everyone in the arcade were praising her

saying "Way to go momma!!" 

It really turned around the night for our boys!

And we all walked away feeling on top of the world 

instead of down in the dumps for not being able to go bowling! 

The boys LOVE them! 

And we LOVE our boys! 

All 3 of them!
