We have fallen behind yet again.
No surprise here!
It was expected with the holiday season
and quite frankly once you get out of the routine of
updating with munchkins around it's hard to find the extra motivation!
Well, we found the motivation last night!
While reading another mom's blog she had a
link to yet another mom's blog! Amazing we find
the time to read other blogs but not update our own.
Hopefully that stops today.
Moving ON!
The motivation came from here:
The whole list is great but our motivation
for blogging again came mostly from #4:
Emilie Buchwald said, "Children become readers on the laps of their parents." Offer your son the opportunity to learn new things, believe in pretend places, and imagine bigger possibilities through books. Let him see you reading...reading the paper, reading novels, reading magazine articles. Help him understand that writing words down is a way to be present forever. Writers are the transcribers of history and memories. They keep a record of how we lived at that time; what we thought was interesting; how we spoke to each other; what was important. And Readers help preserve and pass along those memories.
We've never been the best at journalism.
Perhaps it is because we live in a time of a MILLION
different ways to take a photo or it could
be Mommy's absolute LOVE of everything pictures!
But this is our way to be "present forever."
This is our way of recording how we live at this time!
But most importantly this is how we will pass along our memories!
So reading that blog post combined with a terrible tragedy that
has shaken Mommy to her core we are going to desperately try to
not only catch up but to also KEEP up with updating this blog!
We want our boys and their children to be able to see
what amazing experiences and memories we've created for them.
So here goes!
Oh and just because!
We love them so much!
This is for you!
