New Castle Park Beach

As the summer is winding down we asked G what
else he wanted for his birthday or to do before school starts.
He simply said he wanted to go to the beach!!
(He is SO easy to please!! Please don't grow up too fast little boy!)
He also wanted to know where we were going on
vacation before summer vacation was over but
we had to explain to him that there would be no
more vacations until after the baby comes and he was perfectly
okay with that answer!!

We made plans to hang out with cousin Sam
after they got back from their big vacation trip!
M knew of a really nice park that has a beach
on Lake Washington so we were off!
Playing on the beach!!

Some how the littlest one became

the Foreman for this assembly line of water retrieving!

G and Sam would take turns

Going into the lake to get water to fill up each other's buckets

Then they would come to C and ask him

he wanted them to dump the water!!!

THEY LOVED IT!!
They did it for at LEAST a half an hour!
C would simply point to where he wanted it
after they asked him and they would dump it right there!
They were making:
C= " A Sand Garden"
G= "A Japanese Garden with Sand and Rocks!!"
(M.... do you know where this came from....???)

After the assembly line was done
they played in the sand for a lot longer until
the breeze stopped blowing and M and Wifey
moved to a shaded area by the trees.
C then got some sand in his eyes and
we told the older boys that we would be leaving soon.
Well SOON didn't come quickly enough
because M had a special delivery from the bird in the
tree above!! Not once but TWICE!!
We very quickly got everything packed up
and made our way back to the cars.
To find out that A DIFFERENT bird had left "A BOMB"
on her car's windshield!!!
(M, we still want to know what you did to upset the fowls in the area!!?? HA!)

The boys had a blast and Mommy LOVED catching up with M.
Thanks SOOO much M and Sam for getting us out of the house
for a fun day in the sun even if it did end a little "poopy!"
We hope this doesn't scare you off of hanging out with us again sometime!
We truly love having you guys live so close and can't wait to grow our friendships more!

(Mommy again missed the opportunity to get a picture of the 3 boys together because
of all the "excitement" when we were getting ready to leave!! Maybe it's not daddy and it's
Mommy's pregnancy brain!!!)
