Happy 6th Birthday G!!

Can you believe he is 6 already!!!! 

S-I-X!!! 

Where has time gone!?!? 

Our precious baby is growing up so fast!!

This year he had 4 different times of opening presents. 

First up we video chatted with our family in Ohio.

 He got awesome presents from Ganma and Ganpa!

This little guy even got a car to go with G's gift!!

They couldn't WAIT to get it open to play with it 

so that's what daddy did while mommy was catching up 

with Ganma.

Then we couldn't have a party with out 

our only friends and family here. 

Sam and M and J came over! 

All 3 boys were SOOOO excited 

to open Sam's gift that this is 

the only picture we got! 

They literally walked in the door 

and while the parents were greeting each other 

the present was open and they were ready to play 

with Sam's gift too!!! 

(It was honestly 20 seconds! SO FAST!)

While the boys were all playing for a little while

the parents all chatted for a while. 

Then we had pizza, fruit, and chips for dinner! 

What a perfect birthday dinner! 

Then it was time for ice cream and cake!!

This was NOOOO cake made by Ganma 

and Mommy didn't have the time or energy or creativity 

to make a special one! 

But it was good! 

(We'll have to improve on this when one is not so pregnant!)

Mommy asked Daddy to get a picture 

of all the boys eating and this was the best he got..... 

Not quite sure what happened here but he's going to have to improve on that!!

Then it was time for more presents!!

They are all so excited can you tell!?!?! 

We LOVE TRIO's in our house 

and when it was Sam's birthday we searched all over 

for them to for his gift and couldn't find them ANYWHERE! 

We found out they are DISCONTINUED!!! 

WHAT!?!? 

WE KNOW!! 

So Daddy went on kind of a spending spree overload 

to snatch up all the "cool" Trio's.

G didn't mind the overload!

C even got a sweet gift from G on his birthday! 

He felt so special!

Can't wait to find out what it is!! 

The next phase of opening gifts 

was with our family over video chat in Utah. 

Well Mommy again can't figure this out 

but Daddy is usually in picture OVERDRIVE when it 

comes to nature or things that DON'T have people in it 

but when it comes to picture taking of special events 

he is falling a little (cough LOT behind.)

So there aren't any pictures of that either! 

Mommy also wanted a picture of the 3 boys together 

and a picture of the family together but somehow 

those didn't happen either! 

(We're going to need to WORK on this!!)

Or maybe mommy is the one taking most of the memorable pictures.......

G's favorite gift from them is a Lego game called Minotarius 

the boys get it it out and play with it at least once a day 

and when they aren't playing it they like going around saying

"Mina-TAR-ius!!"

One of the things that Daddy wanted to get G 

was one of the 2 things he actually asked for! 

When we would ask him what he wanted for his birthday 

he would simply say "Anything is fine, just anything!" 

So he first asked for a hamster.... 

We're not sure where he came up with that idea but 

Mommy had to use her Veto power on that because of the 

other NEW addition coming into our family soon! 

So the second thing he asked for was a "belaxer!!!!"

(Yes they are and have been sleeping in the same bunk since we've moved here!)

This whole "Belaxer" came about a few years ago 

when Mommy was going to get rid of her leopard chair pillow. 

When G decided he could NOT LIVE without it!!!!

He said it was "his belaxer!"

So for a while G slept on it but then 

C had to be like his older brother and they 

BOTH slept on it but as they grow 

they are running out of space to share it. 

G asked for his very own so he didn't have to share! 

He asked for it the NIGHT before his birthday 

so Daddy was on a mission to get it for him!! 

HE LOVES IT!! 

He is so grateful for everything! 

(We know we've mentioned that before but we really hope it never fades!)

We have truly been blessed with 2 amazing little boys! 

We have watched G grow into being an awesome 

big brother and a HUGE helper! 

He is so smart and loves his family so much! 

He has put up with A LOT this summer 

while Mommy has been pregnant and especially 

with her boot!  It started to show a little bit 

so we started doing special things just for him. 

He is SO excited for the little baby and we can't 

wait to watch him become a big brother AGAIN!
