New House and New School

When we arrived in Seattle 

we had been up since 5 ish EST and 

flew across the country and we were STARVING! 

So we went off to find some food 

and then we went to check out our new house!! 

Yes HOUSE!! 

We were moving from a tiny apartment into a new 

4 bedroom house!!

because we have set up the game cube in there for right now.)

Mommy was not in the mood to camp out 

of the floor that first night so Ganma lovingly 

helped us out and booked a nice hotel for us 

to sleep in that night!!! 

We were so grateful to be able to take showers 

and to sleep in a nice comfy bed!! 

(The boys slept for just under 10 hours!!!)

It was GREAT!

 The first several days to 2 weeks was VERY stressful

for us!!  Our stuff was taking longer to get here than expected.

Our cars were taking DOUBLE the time quoted to us! 

So we were in our house with NOTHING for about a 

week and driving/sharing the rental for 2-3 weeks!

Hubby's cousin who lives here lovingly let us 

borrow their camping gear!

We used it for a couple of days but 

then slowly realized we needed to invest in 

something a little more comfortable than the floor!

So we headed off to find a futon! 

It was better but nothing like our beds that 

we were missing so much! 

As soon as we got here G started 

asking about going to school!

(most kids wouldn't but he loves to learn)

He LOVES school 

and learning and couldn't WAIT to go to his new school! 

After we registered him and got his ear and collarbone checked out he was ready! 

G's SECOND 1st day of school!!!

It was just as sad and mommy got just as 

choked up as she did when it was his FIRST 1st day of school!! 

He took it all in stride and still loves going to school!!

One of the most stressful days we had in the beginning 

was the day that mommy lost her wallet!! 

She had taken daddy to the train station 

and then dropped G off at school but had to go 

in to the office to fill out a few more forms. 

She and C got home and she couldn't 

find her wallet; which she knew she had at the school. 

So she drove back to the school and retraced her steps

3-4 times.  She searched the rental car and the house 

but nothing!  She finally sat down crying on the front porch and told C they needed 

to say a prayer!  After the prayer the sun was reflecting off of something 

and she looked down to find her wallet!!!

C was awesome through out the whole drama!! 

She had called daddy at work who left his important 

orientation to call and make sure everything was okay! 

We are grateful for the Lord watching out for us 

but could do without the compilation of stressful things all at ONCE!
