Christmas "Concert"

We were super excited for G's first school concert!! 

He was singing his song all over the apartment.

Daddy worked from home that day so he could go to!

The snack time reception before the concert.

They had snacks and books around for everyone to read.

After that we headed off to their "gym/auditorium" to find our seats.

We expected them to be on a stage or risers facing us and singing their songs.

WELL 

That didn't happen! 

All of the parents and grandparents and families 

filed into find seats but there wasn't enough for everyone 

so several people were standing along the walls. 

We didn't realize at the time that it would have been better for 

us to be standing because then we could have moved around 

to get better pictures of G. 

Instead we were crammed in a row trying to keep 

C happy unable to get out and we could only catch small glimpses of G!

He is along the wall in the front. 

While they were singing we couldn't see him unless he 

turned around to make sure we were still watching him. 

They had a projector facing the wall with the words to the song 

so that everyone could sing along! 

It turned out to be more of a karaoke/ sing-a-long thingy.

We were happy to be there to support G 

and we have learned to ask more questions about school activities in the future!
