This year Ganma and Ganpa went on a cruise
really close to Christmas so we were debating
on where/when/how to celebrate Christmas.
We decided to pack EVERYTHING up
and head up to Ohio and surprise them when they got
home on Christmas Eve.
We packed up and decided why
wait so we left at around 10pm and drove
through the night and got there around 4 am!
We were exhausted!
We spent the day hanging around the house
but then we quickly realized we needed a tree!!
So we hurried over to Wal-mart
to hopefully get a real Christmas tree last minute!
(for the first time EVER we bought a tree from a store!)
We got there 10 min before the
Garden Center closed and picked out a tree!
We were blown away that we were able
to get a tree that was BIGGER than our
tree in D.C. for 7 DOLLARS!!
$7!
They were discounted because it
was super last minute but still incredible!
We strapped in on the top and headed home
to search all over for everything to decorate the tree with.

(We ended up calling and telling Ganma and Ganpa that
we were waiting to surprise them at their house because
hubby was worried they were going to drive to D.C. to surprise us!)
They got home and we started to celebrate with all
our usual holiday traditions!

because Ganpa was taking pictures
with their new Christmas gift
which was a nice new camera!
So mommy was taking video
with our camera and snapping a few during the video.
Santa brought lots of gifts!
The boys must have been good this year!
After all the gifts were opened it was time
to play with all the goodies!

But then Ganpa jumped in on the fun to "help"
Then daddy had to get in and "help" with the action too!

While we were there
we decided to surprise Ganma
with new outfits for the kids!
She was surprised at her
gift but then we explained
that the new outfits were for the
kids to get pictures taken to update the
pictures of the grandkids for her!

We are so happy we decided to head to Ohio
