The excitement of moving
quickly wore off and Wifey desperately needed to
be close to friends.
So she headed off to Las Vegas for a dear friend's wedding!
She stayed with Megz!
They have been friends for over 10 years.
Even though life and marriage and miles come between
friendships it is wonderful to reconnect whenever possible!

and the weekend spent with friends did more for
her than words can express!

Just a little excitement on the plane ride home.
This is a picture of a wing door.
Apparently somewhere in flight the big yellow inflated slide
in the front of the plane deployed and we couldn't get off the plane!
We were going to exit out the very back of the plane like they
used to in the past but instead we sat at the gate until the
maintenance crew put it back in!
While waiting Wifey was looking around out her
window and noticed several of the other planes around
looked like they were being worked on as well.
Then after getting off the plane she realized
she was RIGHT! They de-boarded the plane
in a deserted terminal far away from everything else.
She thinks it's probably where all the planes that have issues go to be fixed!
It was crazy but she made it back safe and sound despite the error.
