A Day Out With Thomas 2012

For C's birthday we
got together with Ganma and found
out that Thomas the Train
was coming to the Ohio area!
So as a part of his Birthday gift
Ganma got tickets!
Thanks Ganma!

Check out this stylish little dude!
Mommy saved the party hats from
C's birthday so the boys could wear them!

Playing with the choo'choo' train displays

This guy loves his shades!

And he LOVES Thomas!!
He waited (not so patiently) for a Thomas to come
available to play with on the tracks!

Stopping to color.

We explored the little display/play areas
for a while before it was our turn to board the train!

Talking to the conductor!

Finding our seats

We got some really good seats!

It is worth the few extra dollars to sit in "first class"
(This guy was in a mood with his faces this day!)

It was HOT that day
you can probably tell by our faces
but it was a nice relief to be on the A/C
train for the train ride.

There's the smile we like to see!

The conductor came around and punched
everyone's tickets.

The boys loved

waving at everyone as we went by.

Before we got off
the boys wanted to "see" Thomas.

Getting off the train

Then we had to stand in a LONG line
to wait to get a picture with Thomas the Train.

That time was a dud!
The boys were not happy because
they were hot and hungry
So we decided to go check out
some of the other displays of train tracks.

This table had at least 3 tracks set up
all going at the same time.

Ringing the bell

Playing around with the Photo Engine.

While the boys played
Mommy waited in another Long line
in the hot sun so the boys could
stay in the shade and then come and meet this guy:
Sir Topham Hatt!!

This guy even gave Sir Hatt a High Five!

After that we tried ONE more time to get a good
picture with Thomas.

We'll Take it!!

Then it was time for Thomas to go on another ride.

Waving Bye to Thomas

Covering his ears from the whistle blow!

After that we had a few other
fun things to do.
Diesel Tattoo
(And the "Diesel" face to go with it!)

This guy got Percy but it was come off a little bit.

Then it was time for the bouncy maze and slides.

After that we decided it was WAY
too hot and everyone was getting hungry
so we check out the gift tent on our way out!

Posing with a Thomas made out of Mega Blocks

Thanks again Ganma!
The birthday boy loved everything about it!
