Things They Say V

We know we need to get back into blogging
it's just SO HARD with 3 little busy boys
running around and well the "catching up" part
is really very daunting staring up at a mountain of pictures
to climb!  But we will try our best!
Maybe this post will start a new determination:

We were sitting around on a lazy day one day
when Mommy asked:
M: Who do you think the boys love them more, me or you?
D: Well I don't know maybe you but then again maybe me?
Why don't we ask them?
M: G! C! come here please
(G and C come over)
M: Who do you think loves you more?
Mommy or Daddy?
G: (thinking for a little while)
MOMMY!
M: YES! C what do you think?
C: MOMMY!
D: WHAT!?!?!  I love you too!
G: I know you do, its just, its just mommy loves us more!
M: Why do you say that?
D: Yeah why do you say that!?  I play soccer with you!
G: Well playing soccer is fun but mommy loves me more
Because well She just CARES more about me!
Like she does a LOT of stuff for me and cares a lot.
(Seeing the look on daddy's face)
What!?!  She DOES!
D: (realizing this truth) You are RIGHT bud! You are very right!
(After he leaves)
D: Well that didn't go the way I thought it was going to go!
M: I KNEW IT! I KNEW you would think they would say YOU!
DO NOT poke the MOMMA Bear you know I love them more!

(BAHAHAHA!)
There is no REAL competition but it was fun to see what they would say.
We both sure do love them A LOT!
We really do give them our all!
Daddy works so hard at work and comes home
and helps mommy when he can but mostly LOVES to play with his boys.
Mommy works so hard to make sure they have EVERYTHING they need
even if it means sacrificing her wants or needs or desires so they can be happy!
She LOVES being able to be at home with them!
We hope they always stay tenderhearted and full of love for everyone in our family!

We have been battling a few cases of sickies around here:
The first occasion C was NOT sick but
he might have had "sympathy pains" the poor guy.
C: Mommy my belly hurts.
M: Okay do you want some belly medicine?
C: Um yeah and I need something for my neck.
M: Your neck?
I thought your tummy was sick?
C: It is so I need a hot water bottle for my neck!
M: You need a hot water bottle for your neck to help your belly feel better?
C: Yup! And a cold cocoa!
.......
Alright!?!
That is indeed what he got and he never actually got sick that time.
G was dealing with a terrible stomach bug this is where the "belly hurting"
came from.

The second occasion he actually was sick:
M: Are you sick?
C: Umm my belly hurts a little
M: Well I think you have a fever too
so I don't think you can go to preschool.
(some talking between G and C happens)
G: Let me see...
M: NO!  Stay away from him he has a fever and is sick!
G: He says he's not sick!
M: I'm saying he is.
C: G says I 'm sick and You say I'm not sick and I say I am!
M:..... What!?! Are you sick?
C: You think I am but I think I'm not.
(Pause while mommy tries to follow....)
Can we go to Toys R Us?
M: WHAT!?! No, if you're sick you're not going to preschool
and we are NOT going to Toys R Us!
C: But going there might make me feel better!
M: So you are sick!?
C: If you say I am... I say I'm not sick...
(At this point We can't figure out if he is really feeling sick but there is a slight fever.)
Mommy takes G to school and comes back
a little while later
(he didn't go to preschool)
.....
M: Do you need anything? Are you sick?
C: No, I'm just tired but I might want a cold cocoa it always makes me feel better!

This one and his "cold cocoas!"

The last one is so cute we hope to get it on video:
R is starting to talk
He says Ball, Baba, Dada, Momma, and UP!!!
(among other words he's learning)
and the cutest thing is when we are trying to find something
(usually his binkers)
M or D: Binkers Where ARE you!?!
R: WheAAAWWuuuuu!!??
SOOO stinking cute!

He is getting so big!
They all are!
Time just keeps on passing by so fast!
We are going to try and document more
of our day to day lives.
We always take a TON of pictures when we
go places but not very many of just us laying around the house.
Maybe we should catch up before we take on that task....
Maybe once in a while we will do
"A day in the life of Chaos"
Series or something!
(Just for your viewing pleasure!)

They have sunglasses and TV's in the ceiling
and headphones to watch movies!

It was THIS sweet guy's

No worries here!

The both did great and have now been to their
dentist twice and NO CAVITIES!

1st:
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
This is slightly confusing because this post is coming out
on Christmas but this post is from March/April!
It's okay though it's still a good post!
It was this little guy's 1ST Night
In his big boy crib!!

Mommy wasn't quite ready for it

but this guy didn't seem to mind!
He did GREAT! Just like his big brothers!

Daddy was saying for a little while that
we needed to move him into his crib but
Mommy didn't believe him until he caught it on video/film!

What?

Nothing going on here....

Oh hey what's going on over there?

Let me get

a closer look!!!!

Yup it was definitely time to move him into his
big boy crib!
They grow up way too fast!!!

TWO LIP Festival

We heard A LOT about the amazing Tulip Festival in
Skagit County! We packed up everyone and started our way north.
This is the first thing we saw!!
AMAZING!

Then we went inside to the gardens.

They were spectacular

So many different colors and combinations

G with is favorite red flowers

C with his favorite flowers

A view from the gardens

Very Patriotic!!

They are so stinking cute!

Trying to get a good picture of the boys
together and we can't get over baby R
looking at C like "what do you think you're doing!"

That's better

Much better!
We are SO blessed!

Just for posterity's sake!
Dad and Mommy

The scenery around the garden was beautiful too!

Family photo opp!
(Ganma how hard would it be to photoshop out all the people in the background?)

Another attempt at a cute picture of our boys!

Look how chubby his little hand was!

Aren't we cute!?

More picture of the beautiful gardens

We LOVED this frog!

They each

posed with it

they are so unbelievably cute!
(Okay we are a bit biased!)

Check out the view!!

These are the fields of tulips!

The tractor collecting some of the flowers for sale!

We LOVED the daffodil fields
with the tulips standing out amongst the crowd!

The purple was SO vibrant!

Another view of the purple

Our precious family!

Mommy wants too many pictures of her boys!

They will probably get SICK and TIRED

of the photo shoots for mommy!
But she just can't get enough of them!

Driving away from the gorgeous fields!

We loved this picture!

The day started out kind of cloudy and dreary
but then the cleared up very beautifully!!

We heard about some tulip festival festivities
and decided to head there and beat the rush!

Making crafts and coloring

"Face painting!"

He was so proud!

This guy had so much fun just exploring around!

A Purple kitty for this one!
Is anyone surprised....!?

So cute!

They were so matchy matchy!
A proud Poppa with his boys!

Driving away and a view of some different fields!

On the way home we stopped for some ice cream!

It is homemade and they had fresh made waffle cones!

So fun!

And so YUMMY!

Uncle Jeremy with baby R!
(He was fasting and baby was too young for ice cream!)

Looks delicious!
And it was!!

Just tips for anyone who wants them
and for us if we decide to go back next year!
GO EARLY!!!
We did LOTS of research ahead of time
and we found out its best to go EARLY
in the day!
Do NOT go through out your day
as others would too!
Pack a lunch and eat that lunch
at a park or in your car for an
early or late lunch!
Be patient!
DO NOT take a STROLLER into the fields!
It was great in the gardens but NOT in the fields!
It's muddy and filled with people who do not
have ANY consideration for the fact that you are
there exposing your children to the beautiful world
the Lord has blessed us with!
Overall it was SOO much fun!
Oh and DON'T forget to stop at the Snow goose for
some DELICIOUS ice cream!
