TWO LIP Festival

We heard A LOT about the amazing Tulip Festival in
Skagit County! We packed up everyone and started our way north.
This is the first thing we saw!!
AMAZING!

Then we went inside to the gardens.

They were spectacular

So many different colors and combinations

G with is favorite red flowers

C with his favorite flowers

A view from the gardens

Very Patriotic!!

They are so stinking cute!

Trying to get a good picture of the boys
together and we can't get over baby R
looking at C like "what do you think you're doing!"

That's better

Much better!
We are SO blessed!

Just for posterity's sake!
Dad and Mommy

The scenery around the garden was beautiful too!

Family photo opp!
(Ganma how hard would it be to photoshop out all the people in the background?)

Another attempt at a cute picture of our boys!

Look how chubby his little hand was!

Aren't we cute!?

More picture of the beautiful gardens

We LOVED this frog!

They each

posed with it

they are so unbelievably cute!
(Okay we are a bit biased!)

Check out the view!!

These are the fields of tulips!

The tractor collecting some of the flowers for sale!

We LOVED the daffodil fields
with the tulips standing out amongst the crowd!

The purple was SO vibrant!

Another view of the purple

Our precious family!

Mommy wants too many pictures of her boys!

They will probably get SICK and TIRED

of the photo shoots for mommy!
But she just can't get enough of them!

Driving away from the gorgeous fields!

We loved this picture!

The day started out kind of cloudy and dreary
but then the cleared up very beautifully!!

We heard about some tulip festival festivities
and decided to head there and beat the rush!

Making crafts and coloring

"Face painting!"

He was so proud!

This guy had so much fun just exploring around!

A Purple kitty for this one!
Is anyone surprised....!?

So cute!

They were so matchy matchy!
A proud Poppa with his boys!

Driving away and a view of some different fields!

On the way home we stopped for some ice cream!

It is homemade and they had fresh made waffle cones!

So fun!

And so YUMMY!

Uncle Jeremy with baby R!
(He was fasting and baby was too young for ice cream!)

Looks delicious!
And it was!!

Just tips for anyone who wants them
and for us if we decide to go back next year!
GO EARLY!!!
We did LOTS of research ahead of time
and we found out its best to go EARLY
in the day!
Do NOT go through out your day
as others would too!
Pack a lunch and eat that lunch
at a park or in your car for an
early or late lunch!
Be patient!
DO NOT take a STROLLER into the fields!
It was great in the gardens but NOT in the fields!
It's muddy and filled with people who do not
have ANY consideration for the fact that you are
there exposing your children to the beautiful world
the Lord has blessed us with!
Overall it was SOO much fun!
Oh and DON'T forget to stop at the Snow goose for
some DELICIOUS ice cream!
