About 6-8 months after we moved to D.C.
to have Hubby join the Blackboard Inc. team
the CEO of BB quit.
When he quit his resignation was
followed by several other high up co-workers quitting as well.
Hubby's job wasn't in jeopardy per say
but things were definitely changing.
They were changing the way/mentality
of how things were run there.
We again weren't looking for a job
but we had decided that if we were to stay
with BB that we would move closer to family
and Hubby would go into the office 1 or 2 days a week with a longer commute.
Well the Lord had other plans for the adventures of our family.
Hubby didn't have his resume online and he didn't apply for any jobs either.
Someone simply saw his profile on the social media site Linked In
they emailed him and asked him for his resume and that was all it took
to get to ball quickly rolling!
Amazon flew him all the way to Seattle for an interview!
Mommy stayed at home struggling with morning sickness
and taking care of the boys while he was off in Seattle.
(They made it!!! Even if the majority of what they ate was breakfast foods!)
Amazon quickly replied offering him the JOB!!
We prayed about it and then asked for a counter offer
and they obliged so thus began another adventure in our lives!
We are literally moving across the ENTIRE country!
We are also moving very far from where a chunk of our hearts
reside in Ohio with family and friends.
We are moving farther from Wifey's family but
MUCH closer to Hubby's family so we hope to be able to see them more!
They boys are trying to help us tell everyone!
It took a few tries but we got it!!
Wifey wanted to tell people with a real card
but everything happened SO quickly there wasn't much time!
(And we probably don't need to mention the morning sickness again but you get the idea!)
