The Car Show

So Daddy REALLY wanted to
go to this car show that was in downtown D.C.
Mommy had just found out she was pregnant
(we didn't tell anyone for a while)
and was REALLY sick!
She actually struggled to make it to
Disney on Ice
but she knew she would be sitting for most of the time
so she could probably tough it out!
But at a car show you walk around A LOT!
This is not such an appealing thing
to someone who is in the early
stages of pregnancy and is SO sick
that the only position that feels remotely good to her is laying flat in bed!
But the boys were SO sweet
and wanted her to go too so they prayed every night
"Please bless mommy to feel better to go to the car show!"
Both of them asked for it in their prayers at night!!
How could anyone resist the sweetness dripping from their prayers!
So off we went!
Checking out the cars

Too young to drive!
Don't grow up too fast!

He liked the green ones!

They had this really cool little race track
where you can race these little mini cars!
Of course we HAD to let the boys do it!

The coolest car there!
The Batmobile!

We had to check out the Ford cars for Ganpa!
How do they look!?!?

The light is shining in his face
but he's too young to drive too!!
Stay little for a little while longer please!

They had other fun things to do around as well.
They loved this little duck guy
and they loved racing the car video games!
G LOVED getting free stuff from everyone!
He would collect them and put them in his free bag that he got
from racing a game at one of the booths!

They all had so much fun!
Mommy was a trooper and pushed herself
to be there to see the boys happy.
We took breaks whenever we could
and luckily they had plenty of places to sit down!

Daddy was happy to show his boys all the
awesome cars and the boys were happy we all went.
Their prayers changed to
"Thank you that mommy go to the car show!"
They both said thank you for about a month after the car show!
We are grateful we are teaching them that they
can pray and ask for even the littlest things in life.
