House hunting Amazon style

After Hubby accepted the job
we had to schedule a house hunting trip!
(On Amazon's dime!)
We decided we would drive up
to Ohio late one night and Hubby would work from there
for the day then we would drive to the airport and fly out later that night.
With the time change it worked out really well!
We left the boys with Ganma and Ganpa for the weekend.
We decided it would be too much for them to come with us.
The sun rise from our Hotel room.

We also went to the top floor to see the sunrise over looking the Puget Sound

It was EARLY!
Can you tell by our faces!?!?
We pushed ourselves HARD during this trip
and the time change didn't help much!

We spent the first day there going around with
a Realtor that was provided for us.
She was super nice and took us to see
a lot of different homes but none of them felt like they fit just right.
So we headed back to the hotel
and grabbed a bite to eat at
The Cheesecake Factory
Then we decided to head off
to see Pike's Place Market downtown.

The sunsetting

A Piggybank!!
We took this picture because our little one
LOVES piggy banks and coins.

We actually went down to the market at the WRONG
time of the day because everything was closing down!
So we went down to ride on the ferris wheel.

Waiting in line

Looking up at the ferris wheel.

These pictures are from our ride on the ferris wheel:

We had hopes to watch the sunset but with the line we missed
most of it.  The ferris wheel was a lot of fun and not scary
at all.  We have high hopes of taking the boys on it sometime!

After our ride on the ferris wheel.

The next morning we got up and headed to a
restaurant at the top of one of the buildings to eat and watch the sunrise!

The view was REALLY good from up there
BUT they have the restaurant on WRONG side
of the building to actually watch the sunrise.

We went off on our own one of the days
we were there to check out other houses on the
eastern and southern sides of Seattle and
we ended up finding a place!!
We were SO grateful to find a place
for us to call home for a little while!

Hubby wanted to so much more than we actually
did but with the time change and being early in
pregnancy Wifey was pooped and crashed!!
We hope to go up the needle and to take the boys with us very soon.
We are excited to explore Seattle more along this new adventure!
