Hubby and Wifey's birthday are only a couple
of weeks apart.
We actually celebrate A LOT of days
in 5 weeks or so.
There is Mother's day
which Mommy got some
very sweet gifts from everyone for.
Then there is Memorial day,
Then there is her birthday,
Then Father's day,
Which daddy also got
awesome gifts for.
Then Hubby's birthday!!
Lots of fun times to celebrate with yummy food!
First in this post is Wifey's birthday.
Hubby was REALLY
sweet and even though he was in a conference
for the whole day he made it special by ordering
this cake via special order hoping it would
taste like Wifey's favorite!!
(It was wasn't quite the same but a good effort!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Then he knew Wifey
was craving Cafe Rio but
they don't have any restaurants close!!
So he took her to a place that was
supposed to be similar.
(Again close but not really hitting the spot!)
While we were on our way to dinner
we saw a fun zone that we thought would be
a great place to go after dinner.
Well as it turns out our little one
was too small to ride any of the big rides
so we just got them tickets to ride:
In driving school!!
We had never seen anything like these before!
There are little cars that
go around a little track
that the boys can drive by THEMSELVES!
Off he goes!!
This one need just a little help to get him
going but then:
He did GREAT!!
This one was always in the lead
and at one point this guy got lapped
But they had a GREAT TIME!!
We then went inside where they played
a few arcade games and earned some tickets
to get some prizes!!
The fun zone turned out
to be more fun for the boys but
mommy loves watching her boys experiencing
fun and new things in life!!
It was a good birthday!
Next birthday up is:
Hubby's!!!
Wifey knew that all Hubby would
really want for his birthday was to
go on a date!!
So she arranged with M
to have the boys hang out with Sam.
We went off to dinner
and then we bought a DELICIOUS
ice cream cake and took it back to
celebrate with everyone!
Check out ALL those candles!!
Blowing out the candles with some help.
Daddy was smooth enough
to leave just ONE candle left
for the little guy to blow out!!
We both have truly been blessed
with much love and many gifts
and especially many reasons
to celebrate!!
