(February 13, 2011 On our way home from church!)
G: "Look momma it's snowing!!"
M: " Is it snowing outside?"
G: "Yup! It's snowing lots and lots!"
M: "Oh wow!, Well do you want to go outside and play in the snow!?!"
G: "Noooo"
M: "No? Why not?"
G: "I can't go play in the snow it's too dangerous!"
M: "Too dangerous are you sure?"
G: "Yes, I sure!"

Side note:
We wonder if this has to do with driving home one day in some pretty scary conditions
or
If it's because he thinks everyone goes pee in the snow....
One family home evening in Feb. 2012:
We were teaching them about Safety.
M: You know we don't talk to strangers right?
G: Yeah
M: Do you know what a stranger is!?!
G: No, What?
M: A stranger is a person that we do not know.
G: Oh okay.
(As a part of the lesson we brought out pictures of family/friends and strangers, to show the difference)
M: So if a stranger ever comes up and talks to you, what do you do?
G: I use my BIG muscles to beat him up!
M: Nooo, we don't beat anyone up we scream STRANGER and run to mommy or daddy!
G: And then I beat him up!
M: Nooo you just run away.
And if someone is talking to your baby brother you have to protect him, right?
G: Yup with my BIG muscles!
M:.............. Where is your shirt?
G:..........
M: Why don't you have a shirt on?
G: I had to take it off to show of my BIG MUUUSCLEEEES!
M:...... So what do we do if a stranger comes up and talks to you?
G:.......
M: We run away and scream STRANGER!! Let's practice..
G: (with his ears covered) I can't, I'll just beat him up!
We might have to go over that lesson a COUPLE of times!!
You have to love him and his imagination!
In looking for the pictures we discovered this never been posted blog!
We hope to document more of what the boys are saying
especially since C has been talking up a storm saying the cutest things for a while now!
