While we are in Utah
we LOVE to visit our friends as much as we can!
Hubby's best friend and his family
always plan a fun adventure for us to go on!
This time we went to the Hogle Zoo!
Checking out the bird on display
This elephant is pregnant.
(Do you know elephants are pregnant for like 2 years!?!?!)
Monkeys!
Bald Eagles!
It's so cool to see them up close
but sad because there was no top to this enclosure
so that can only mean that their wings have been clipped.
B and C checking out the seals.
The seals were so cool!
The next thing we were excited to see was this guy:
POLAR BEAR!
That is a Brown bear sleeping right next to the window!!
Next up:
Giraffes!!
Family Photo
Check out that tiger!!
It was pacing back and forth across that bridge.
Cheese!
Porcupine!
Huge Lizard!!
We decided to take a little break
from the hot weather and the boys
wanted to ride the carousel!
Gorilla!
Sea Lion!
DK!!!
This guy was actually coming SO close to the window.
He was coming right up and it looked like
G and the Gorilla were interacting!
Goofy guys!
Then we figured out it was
time for a Bird show.
We decided to take advantage of
sitting in the shade to watch the show.
It was actually REALLY cool
and a lot of fun!
The birds listen to cues so well
and the fly SO close to your head sometimes!!
Donating money
The boys LOVED the bird taking the
money out of their hands!!
Bald Eagle
Ahhh G Watch OUT!!
Little Prairie Dogs
Popping up to say HI!!!
Look at that Cougar!
Feeding the
Duckies!!
Playing
around!
After seeing most of the zoo
they told us we had to head back
to the Polar Bear to see if he was doing his trick!
And he WAS!!!
He does these flips against the glass in the water!!
It was so cool!
Waiting to get sprayed!!
On the way out that had a sale on little
stuffed animals!
G picked a blue monkey with Velcro arms
and
C picked this "lasso nake"!!!
We had no idea he liked snakes!
He was cute chasing everyone around
pretending to get them!!
After this we grabbed a bite to eat.
We LOVE spending time with their whole family!
We really hope we can see them more often!
