Wood is the traditional gift you give for your 5th anniversary!

So we decided to go together and get:

A porch swing!!! 

We have plans to get a plague to put on it but things went a little wonky!

 (more on that later, keep reading)

For our Anniversary we decided to go back to Pittsburgh where we first met!

Almost the exact spot where we first met 

7 YEARS ago!! 

CRAZY!

Then we went to Schenley Park one of the first places we went on a date!

They have a Putt Putt course in the ice rink during the summer! 

This is in the park over looking the Pittsburgh Skyline!

The sunset was in the way but you get the idea! 

This is where we sat and talked for a REALLY long time! 

 Then we got some Cold Stone one of the first places we ate together!

Outside Hubby's Apt and in the Garden where he proposed! 

That is both of our fingers adding up to 5!! 

It has been a LONG 5 years but at the same time it is hard to believe we have been together 7 and married for 5 and we have 2 handsome little boys!! Times have been tough sprinkled with some beautiful bliss! 

This year has been especially hard on us. 

We have already mentioned the camera (roller coaster) well mix that in with our AC breaking and needing replaced, and cars breaking down periodically, and the main breaker in our house melting and shorting out our electricity throughout Half our house, at the same time FRYING our computer and us Losing some of our precious pictures, the upstairs faucet leaking and creating a hole in our computer room ceiling, cell phones and laptop breaking, Hubby going to school without any income, sprinkle in some emotional arguments and rough patches..... Yeah we think you get the picture of the insanely HARD strain it has put on our marriage!

 But we are stronger for it (we hope!!!) and hope to have better years to come.

(Well we can just pray that the rest of the year until our 

6th anniversary will go a little more smoothly than the past 8 or 9 months!!!)

So here is to taking it as it comes and hopefully being able to laugh a little or a lot along the way!!
