After setting up camp and spending some time at the beach,
we also spent some time lounging around camp!

If you look close in the picture above and below
you'll see that our poor little boy got EATEN ALIVE!!!
The "horse flies" were AWFUL!
We flew through a TON of bug spray!!!
Luckily he didn't seem to mind or notice much and didn't WHINE at ALL!!!
And we did an awesome job keeping them away from the baby!
They must have loved G because he is literally SOO SWEET!
The rest of the "adults" (ahem er babies!?! us included!!) Sure whined A LOT!
He is so pleased with himself!

We camped at Assateauge Island National Park in Maryland!
We were camping on an Island in the MIDDLE of the OCEAN!
We had a camp on the Bay side but you can camp RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!
Wake up in the morning and literally spend the WHOLE day at the BEACH!
We also saw what Assateague Island is known for:
Wild Horses!
They were beautiful and so close.
How close.... well.....
THIS CLOSE!
NO ZOOM or ANYTHING!!!
They "attacked" our camp while we were gone one day and "raided" our food!
We usually were pretty good about putting all the food away but we obviously missed some!!
They also invaded our camp one night while we were cooking dinner!!
There was a WHOLE pack of about 5-7 of them!!!
There are really beautiful to look at but up close they can bite you and kick you!
