More on Baby C's Ears

We are so blessed to have this wonderful man in our family:

This is Uncle Marshall he is an ENT and a Pediatric Audiologist and he was happy to take a look at C's ears while we were in Utah!! So his diagnosis is no ear infections just simply fluid in the ears!!! Yup, he says that some babies just have it and they grow out of it. In a few cases babies don't and that is when they need to step in and try some things. But he has told me that when the doctors said "the fluid was gone" he's not sure if that was right because he still sees the fluid. He also said that we don't need to be putting him on antibiotics and if the doctor wants to do that when we go back for his well baby check up; we have his permission to say "NO!" and that we talked to him! He did say that if we lived out there he would see us once a month until he was six months and then if the fluid was not going away he would re-test his hearing. So that is where we are at! We will see what the doctor says and go from there!
