Mommy and daddy got an email from Grandma Jayne that said they were having a surprise party for Ggpa Folsom! At first they wondered why they were told only two weeks before the party. Then they started thinking.... then they made the plans to surprise everyone at the surprise party!!!! They booked a flight with the help of Heavenly Father we found super cheap flights 1 1/2 weeks before the trip. We made plans to stay with daddy's BFF Jared and his family. They cancelled all their plans, packed up all our stuff, and we were on our way. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to Nana Bonnie's house and they had made YUMMY dinner. The next day we went to Thanksgiving Pointe Gardens while everyone else was at work. The gardens were so much fun! We went through mazes and played in the water. I pulled the wagon most of the time because I'm a big boy now! The waterfalls were AWESOME!! When we got home we celebrated Jared's birthday but he doesn't like being the center of attention so you'll only see me with his balloons!!! Friday we spent the whole day hanging around the house. Mommy was sick the whole trip and on Friday she slept A LOT! Then Saturday we went down to see cousin Aaron and had lunch. After lunch we went back to Nana Bonnie's and said our Bye! bye! We were on our way! Mommy and daddy were SOOO excited to surprise everyone!! When we got to the church... something was really wrong... I think I'm going to let mommy and daddy take over.

Well when we had arrived at the church we didn't recognize any cars. We finally got the courage to go in and start asking questions. Then Ken made a very vague phone call to his mom stating the wanted to wish Grandpa a happy birthday and he hoped we were not interupting. WELL we weren't!!! Because they had postponed it until the following SATURDAY!! We were so surprised/shocked/devastated!! We did not know what to do. We called Amanda's mom, Bonnie, and friends. We thought maybe we should just go to the Great-grandparent's house but we were worried that would give away the surprise. We thought maybe go back to Jared's and never say we ever went but the whole reason we went out was to see Grandpa Folsom. So we decided after driving around for an hour we needed HELP! So Amanda called Brad and had a conversation that consisted of a lot of "OH WOWS!" by Brad and "WHAT DO WE DO?" by Amanda. We then had them meet us at the ward building to figure out what to do.... We then made plans to drive to their house and have Brad and Alyson (who was with Brad) walk in holding Gavin. We missed the surprised but were told that their mom was shocked. They asked do you know "who this is?" and she said it looks a lot like my grandson and then touched G and said it is G!!! Then everyone came out... looking for us and there we were standing outside. Ken's dad was so surprised. We explained everything and everyone felt bad. So they made a MILLION phone calls and pushed back up to Sunday(the next day!) Everyone actually said that it worked out better for them that way. Everyone came except a cousin who lives in Oregon and a cousin who we are not really sure why they made the decision not to come (different priorities?). We went to church on Sunday then came home got ready for the party and everyone suprised Grandpa especially us!! They were so surpised and happy to see us! We are so grateful we were able to go. We missed a lot back home (2 graduations, a birthday party, and more.) But after seeing Grandpa have a "dizzy spell" we are SO happy we made the sacrafice and went to spend such a special time with the whole family!

We love you guys!! We left on Monday in the afternoon. A very short time with the family but we wanted to surprise them. G was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING flying out and back! We guess he's a seasoned traveler and flyer considering this was his 5 trip travling by plane and his umpteenth time traveling all over!!
