So today was a busy day!! We set out to go find our Christmas tree and since we've moved into a new house we decided to get a tall tree instead of a fat tree! Mainly because our ceilings are high ceilings. So we set off to our traditional place and borrowed a saw from them. We found the perfect one! And we mean perfect! Ken sawed it down and then sawed some off the bottom since we don't have a saw at home and we just hoped it would fit. Well, we got it home, got out the stand, set it in there and stood it up!! It was totally meant to be!! This tree fit perfectly!! We didn't have to do any more cutting or adjusting at home!

So then we got ready to go to the ward Christmas party which was period dress!! Amanda thought it started at 6:30 but apparently it started at 5:30 so everyone was calling us at 6:00 to find out where we were. We were stuck in traffic due to an accident because the roads were bad!! Well we debated on going back home or to keep going. We went and what Ken had predicted came true. "Why go? We'll just get there and help clean up and then turn around and leave." We got there and then Bishop Worth came even later than we did and said the roads were bad. Santa came very briefly and then everyone flew around helping clean up and we came home! It was fun while we were there and at least Gavin got to see Santa!!
